A gallery of photographs of an INF gynæcology camp in Mugu, taken by US freelance photographer Josh Nash. INF began its medical camps relief work in 1993. The purpose of the camps is 'to bring health and hope to the poor of Nepal'. Since 1993 there have been around a hundred camps in many poor communities, treating tens of thousands of outpatients and performing thousands of operations. An average camp lasts about a week, treating several hundred outpatients and performing around a hundred operations. Short-term volunteers from around the world [including Nepal] come together with Nepali colleagues to carry out surgical, dental, gynæcological, ear and other types of camps.
