Are you a community nurse with experience of working in a developing country?

INF Nepal needs an expatriate Christian nurse to work with its Community Health and Development Adviser and help its community health staff develop their work across Nepal's Mid Western Region

 

 

 

INF Nepal needs an expatriate Christian registered nurse with community experience, preferably in the Indian sub-continent.

The Community Health Nurse Adviser will work across INF Nepal's five district programmes in Nepal's Mid Western Region and so will need to travel extensively.

He / she will be part of INF Nepal's Community Health and Development Unit based in Nepalgunj, and will work with community facilitators and government health staff.

He / she will need to be committed to good skill transfer.

Good Nepali language skills are needed, and an initial commitment of two years after Nepali language training is required.

Candidates must be proficient in the English language.
Training in the Nepali language is provided for expatriate workers, differing in length depending on the duration of their assignments.

INF is unable to pay salaries to expatriate workers in Nepal.
Expatriates in INF are seconded by agencies in home countries who help them find their funding.

In the UK / Australia / New Zealand one of the options available to candidates is secondment to INF in Nepal via INF UK / INF Australia / INF New Zealand respectively.
