work locations				is situated around two hours’ drive north of Nepal’s main East-West Highway. Located in the middle of a wide valley, Surkhet is not as hot as the towns closer to the Indian border. The layout of this ‘new’ town has been carefully planned by the Nepali government. A lot of development effort is being put into the local area by different agencies and volunteers. INF has a well-equipped TB and leprosy referral clinic in Surkhet. From this centre, INF also provides assistance for people with disabilities, services in physiotherapy, occupational therapy and gynæcology, and some general medical training.
