Scene from the Mugu camp
INF helps Puspa
28 JUL 07
Puspa Rawal, 5, is a little girl who attended an INF gynæcology camp in Nepal’s remote, impoverished Mugu District last month. She was diagnosed with a large ovarian tumour and referred to the Kanti Children’s Hospital in the capital Kathmandu, where she arrived on Monday last week. ‘INF has paid all the costs of air and bus travel, food, accommodation and hospital treatment for Puspa and for her father, who will care for Puspa while she is in hospital,’ says Eka Dev Devkota, the co-ordinator of INF’s medical camps programme.
