previous news		Sita KC		INF’s paraplegic newcomer 01 SEP 07 Sita KC is a new member of staff at INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara. Sita has been appointed as a peer counsellor providing encouragement to new spinal injury patients. Sita became paraplegic as a teenager and was herself helped with rehabilitation at Green Pastures. She has trained as a counsellor and worked at the hospital as a volunteer and with a local patients’ group for two years. ‘We have high hopes for Sita’s work,’ says Green Pastures’ Medical Superintendent Dr Iain Craighead.
