In May 2006 spinal injury patient Madhav came to INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara. ‘He was very unwell, covered in pressure sores and very depressed,’ says Green Pastures’ Medical Superintendent Dr Iain Craighead. ‘We struggled for many months to bring him back to health,’ adds Iain. INF has now helped to build a house for Madhav and his family near Nepalgunj, and is helping them to earn a regular income. If you would like to help people like Madhav, please click here.
