A special celebration was held yesterday in Surkhet to mark the 30th anniversary of INF’s health and development work in this district of Nepal’s Mid Western Region. INF Worldwide Executive Director Dr David Stevens, INF Nepal Executive Director Dr Deependra Gautam and INF Surkhet Programme Manager Kum Gurung were among those leading the event, which also included songs, dance and drama by staff and clients. A 32-page booklet has been produced to mark the occasion, including messages of support from Nepal’s Social Welfare Council and the Surkhet District Health Office.
