A third annual batch of Nepali physiotherapy students yesterday graduated after completing the Dhulikhel Medical Institute’s certificate course, established in 2002 by Canadian INF physiotherapist Gillian Coates among others. Among the fifteen student physiotherapists who graduated in Dhulikhel yesterday, four have already found phyiotherapy jobs in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, two are going on to do further physio studies in India and nine are already working [or are about to start work] in various provincial locations in Nepal. The top student in the graduating physiotherapy class this year was Dinesh Chataut.
