After her first baby was stillborn in a difficult home delivery, Sita suffered from gynæcological problems for thirty years. She did not believe she would ever be well again, and suffered from depression. However, after a meeting in her village with INF gynæcologist Shirley Heywood, Sita had a successful operation and is now completely recovered. A smile has returned to Sita’s face and she is able to play a full part in family and village life once more, free of the fear and embarrassment which troubled her for so long.
