Mr Rune Cederholm, a representative of INF’s partner organisation the Swedish Medical Mission [SMM], yesterday ended a four-day visit to INF’s Leprosy Referral Centre in the Surkhet District of Nepal’s impoverished Mid Western Region. The SMM has been a very generous donor to INF. ‘For the last two years the SMM has provided between 50% and 60% of the funds which we need to run the Leprosy Referral Centre here in Surkhet,’ says INF’s Lois Dingley. ‘INF is now hoping to establish a long-term partnership with the SMM,’ adds Lois.
