Aussie funds flood relief
21 Sep 08
For the last two weeks a seven-person INF team have been helping with relief work in the flooded Sunsari district.
The INF medical team have been helping displaced people suffering with diarrhoea, eye and ear infections and fevers at a location 9 kilometres from the district centre.
The team plan to stay in Sunsari until at least 23 September.
INF would like to express its thanks to an Australian donor who has given AUD $10,000 to cover all costs of the relief work, including medicines, transport, accommodation, safety equipment etc.
