Australian donors have given AUD $71,000 [around US$57,000] to INF’s health and development work in Nepal via INF Australia.

In the Australian tax year which finished on 30 June, Australian donors to INF Australia’s new tax-efficient Relief Fund gave: AUD $34,000 for INF’s work in Nepal’s remote, impoverished Mugu District; AUD $22,000 for INF’s work in Nepal’s remote, impoverished Jumla District; and AUD $15,000 for INF’s Partnership For Rehabilitation project, which serves Nepali people with disabilities.

The funding for INF’s work in Mugu District includes AUD $20,000 for smokeless stoves. ‘In future years, INF Australia will aim to give a minimum unrestricted amount of AUD $14,000 for INF’s work in Mugu District and AUD $25,000 for INF’s work in Jumla District,’ says Personnel and Projects Director Kerrie Worboys in INF Australia’s Sydney office.

INF would like to thank all the Australian donors who gave so generously to INF’s work in Nepal during the last Australian tax year via INF Australia’s new tax-efficient Relief Fund.
