Australian physiotherapy student Ben Reardon has raised AU$800 for INF's Green Pastures Hospital by doing without presents for his 21st birthday. Ben visited Green Pastures and INF's programme in Nepal's Surkhet District with seven other Australian physiotherapy students during the Christmas holiday. Their trip to Nepal was the result of their acquaintance with Naomi Reed, the award-winning Australian Christian writer who formerly served as a physiotherapist with INF in Nepal. 'We all wanted a chance to see what it's like to do physio-based mission work,' says Ben. 'I was blown away by the love INF showed to the patients in Green Pastures and Surkhet. So for my 21st birthday instead of getting presents I made it an INF fund-raiser. I hope this will be an encouragement to people in INF to continue doing all their great work.' INF would like to thank Ben for his very generous support.
