Australian partner visits
24 Feb 08
Phil Lindsay, a representative of INF’s partner organisation TEAR Australia, yesterday arrived for a week-long visit to Nepal.
As well as seconding Australians to serve with INF in Nepal, TEAR is a generous donor to INF’s work.
During his visit Phil will be travelling to Pokhara to see the work of INF’s Partnership For Rehabilitation, which TEAR helps to fund. He will also be hearing reports on INF’s new community development work in Kapilbastu District, also supported by TEAR, which has been affected by ongoing ethnic unrest in southern Nepal.
