Campaign helps Kopila
10 Feb 09
Kopila, 8, was seriously injured in a fall when she was just one year old.
Her injury made her incontinent, which meant other children avoided or teased her.
However, last month INF’s Surkhet-based gynæcologist Dr Shirley Heywood was able to operate on Kopila and successfully put an end to her incontinence problem.
From now on Kopila will be able to lead a normal life.
Donations to INF’s ‘Get a life!’ disability campaign helped pay for Kopila’s treatment. If you would like to help Nepali people with disabilities, please click here.
