01 May 09
A seven-day INF ear camp in Bajhang last week treated 1,056 patients.
The Bajhang ear camp finished on 27 April and was carried out by nine Nepali INF staff and twelve volunteers from the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Operations were performed for 136 patients, 421 had hearing tests and 136 received hearing aids.
Some patients walked for five days to attend the camp.
INF will hold another ear camp in Bajura in November. If you would like to support INF medical camps financially, please contact your nearest INF office.
