German’s 40 years in Nepal
12 Oct 08
INF Associate Member Jutta Weber this year celebrates her fortieth anniversary of living and working in Nepal.
Jutta, who grew up in the former East Germany, first came to work with INF in Nepal in 1968.
Now retired, she lives in a farm near the town of Khaireni on the road between Kathmandu and Pokhara with a community of former leprosy patients and their able-bodied children. A member of INF’s German partner organisation Missionshaus Bibelschule Wiedenest, Jutta is so committed to Nepal that she has even become a Nepali citizen.
