Gynæ camp treats 634
16 Feb 09
INF’s 100th medical camp, held in Jajarkot from 4-10 February, treated 634 gynæcology patients.
Operations were performed for 74, and 56 had ultrasound scans.
The INF team included 14 Nepali members and 14 expatriates, some of whom travelled to Nepal especially for the camp.
‘Some of the patients walked for three or four days to get to the camp,’ comments INF Camps Administrator Eka Dev Devkota.
Established in 1993, INF medical camps are publicised via radio. To support the camps financially, please click here to contact your nearest INF office.
