Gynæ camp treats 915

The INF gynæcology camp in Lamjung which ended today treated 915 women in seven days, the team performing 64 operations and carrying out 33 ultrasound scans.
Two patients were referred to Patan Hospital in Kathmandu, one for vaginal fistula and one for chemotherapy, their costs will be paid for by INF.
The INF team for Lamjung included 13 volunteers from other countries and 14 Nepali personnel, including Dr Bandana Sharma Gurung from Kist Medical College in Kathmandu. This was INF’s 97th medical camp since the camps programme started in 1993.
