Several INF representatives attended a two-day meeting of the Nepal Christian Hospitals Association [NCHA] which ended at Anandaban Hospital in Kathmandu yesterday. Participating were personnel from: INF's Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara; INF's leprosy clinic in Surkhet; and INF's TB clinic in Nepalgunj. The meeting was co-ordinated by INF Partnership Programme Manager Ian Chadwell. 'This is the third time NCHA has run a two-day event like this,' says Ian. 'Thirty people attended, the largest gathering so far. We discussed how to improve co-operation with government, legal issues in health care, and how to make meetings as effective as possible,' he adds. Other hospitals represented at the meeting were: Anandaban Hospital [Leprosy Mission Nepal]; Lalgadh Leprosy Services Centre [Nepal Leprosy Trust]; Okhaldhunga Community Hospital and Tansen Hospital [United Mission to Nepal]; and Lamjung District Community Hospital, Dadeldhura Hospital and Chaurajahari Hospital [Human Development and Community Services].
