Hasta Bahadur Bogati, 36, is from Nepal's remote Kalikot District. While building a house, he fell and was taken to hospital in Surkhet. It was thought he had a spinal cord injury. However, INF staff discovered movement in his legs. It was discovered that he did not have a spinal injury, and after two daily sessions of physiotherapy and occupational therapy from INF, he quickly progressed from his wheelchair to a standing frame and then to elbow crutches. He is now able to walk using just one elbow crutch and is independent. He is very grateful for the loving care he has received from INF in Surkhet.
