INF helps Mangal
13 May 09
When he was three months old, Mangal Singh Gurung’s leg was badly burned in his family home by a woodstove oven while his parents were outdoors working in the fields.
Eighteen years later, Mangal heard from friends about INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara and borrowed the money to travel there.
INF provided Mangal with an artifical leg free of charge, so he can now move around independently.
