Santosh, 30, became paraplegic after falling from a tree.
He was referred to INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre in Pokhara, where he had reconstructive surgery for pressure sores and rehabilitation so he would be independently mobile in his wheelchair.
INF is helping him to find wheelchair-accessible accommodation and arranging for vocational training so he can contribute to his family’s income.
‘INF provides free treatment for poor people like Santosh, who would have died without our help,’ says Green Pastures’ Sandra Boone.
