INF helps Sunil
23 Feb 08
Sunil is a 2-year-old boy from Nepal’s remote Dolpa District, who tragically lost his mother after a recent avalanche almost wiped out their village.
‘Sunil became very ill and his father walked for three days from Dolpa to bring him to the INF Clinic in Jumla,’ says INF’s Susanne Hutter.
‘After intensive care and careful feeding at INF’s Nutrition Referral Centre, Sunil gained 800 grams in 15 days and began to smile, talk and walk again.
'INF also helped Sunil’s father with advice on child care and nutrition,’ adds Susanne.
