INF in oil business
24 Oct 08
INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities yesterday made its first venture into the ‘oil business’.
A first batch of lemongrass oil was distilled at the Pokhara hospital’s farm in partnership with Nepali company Mahema Industries [web site: http://mahemanepal.org].
‘The enterprise will develop an income stream for the hospital,’ says Philip McMillan of Mahema Industries.
‘It will also provide rehabilitation for people treated at the hospital for leprosy, spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. We look forward to many years of successful essential oil production together.’
