Putuli says ‘Thank you’
20 May 09
Putuli became incontinent after the difficult birth of her third child five years ago.
She and her husband went to INF’s office in Nepal’s remote Jumla District and were referred from there to INF’s Surkhet District programme, where INF gynæcologist Dr Shirley Heywood was able to perform the operation Putuli needed.
‘Putuli is now well and able to live a full and normal life,’ says Shirley.
INF paid all the costs of Putuli’s treatment. If you would like to help other Nepali people with disabilities like Putuli, please click here.
