30 Nov 08
A seven-day INF surgical camp which came to an end in Nepal’s Bajura District this week treated a total of 1,410 people.
The surgical camp was held in a school building in Tante.
The 21-person INF team included personnel from Nepal, New Zealand, the UK and Australia and performed a total of 131 operations.
‘Some patients had never seen a doctor before they came to the INF camp,’ says Eka Dev Devkota, INF’s Pokhara-based medical camps administrator.
