A group of volunteers in Japan has kindly sent INF 90 wheelchairs for children with cerebral palsy. INF will provide the wheelchairs to children who will use them until they outgrow them, at which point the wheelchairs will be given to other children. At a recent ceremony at INF's Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara, Mr Morita Hirokazu from the group was present to see the first seven children with cerebral palsy receive their wheelchairs. The Japanese volunteers hope to help with maintenance of the wheelchairs, and hope to provide more wheelchairs in future.
