Tony McClean
25 Apr 08
INF wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Tony McClean, who died in a river canyoning accident in New Zealand last week.
Tony, a teacher, died together with six of his secondary school pupils.
Seconded from Interserve New Zealand, Tony taught at INF’s Primary Study Centre [PSC] in Pokhara for five months last year.
‘The children at PSC have proclaimed Tony a hero,’ says PSC Principal Sue Kemp.
‘They’re sure he did all he could to save the lives of the children in his class.’
