Children's groups at St John's church in Harborne, Birmingham in the UK have been raising funds to help INF help Nepali children.
The groups have made 'promise boxes' to sell during coffee times at the church. Funds raised will go to help the 'chhahari schools' project organised by INF teacher Sue Kemp.
The chhahari schools work with Nepali churches in teacher training and provision of basic education for disadvantaged Nepali children, enabling them to join the school system. The chhahari schools are often held outdoors, helping classes of up to twenty children. There are currently 42 such classes in the Nepalgunj, Danghadi and Surkhet areas of Nepal.
