UK teenager Chris Sharman is doing a six-day sponsored solo mountain bike ride for INF.
On 25 June Chris will start ‘The Lakeland Loop’, biking over some of Cumbria’s highest passes and going into some of the most remote regions of the Lake District.
Chris will cycle 240 kilometres [150 miles], most of them off-road, and ascend 6,700 metres [22,100 feet].
Chris is currently doing his ‘A Level’ exams before leaving school, and is a member of King’s Church in Cockermouth.
All proceeds from his sponsored cycle ride will go towards INF’s ‘Child to child’ health education project in Nepal’s remote, impoverished Mugu District. The project aims to help over 1,200 children and mothers suffering from malnutrition, lack of health care and poor education.
If you would like to sponsor Chris, please click here to contact INF UK.
