INF UK Members Clive and Andrea Thomas and former Members Carl and Alison Towner are climbing fifteen mountains to raise funds for INF’s ‘Get a life!’ disability campaign.
Clive, Andrea, Carl and Alison aim to climb all fifteen of the mountains in Wales which are over 3,000 feet high [around 1,000 metres high] in less than 24 hours.
‘We’re hoping to do it in 12 hours, although just doing it in one day will probably be quite an achievement!’ says Andrea.
The intrepid group will sleep on Mount Snowdon tomorrow night before attempting the climb on Saturday. They aim to raise around £1,500 [around US$2,500], or £100 per peak.
