UK couple Nick and Ros Henwood have published an autobiographical book entitled 'Changed agents: Nine years in Nepal' to encourage other Christians to consider serving in cross-cultural mission work. Nick and Ros lived in a remote village and in a cosmopolitan town in Nepal and were involved in tuberculosis and HIV work. Intending to be 'change agents', they found that Nepal changed them. 'We have written the book to de-mystify cross-cultural work overseas for people considering it themselves,' says Ros. 'Through the story we tackle a lot of difficult issues such as short-term and long-term service, conflict between expatriates, bureaucracy, coping with political unrest, and raising children in another culture.' Published by Grosvenor House [294 pages; ISBN 10: 1908447567; ISBN 13: 978-1908447562], 'Changed agents' is available worldwide through online bookseller Amazon at prices including US$14.99 / €10.99 / £8.99 or directly from the authors' own web site.
