Almost 130 people took part in the five-day INF Worldwide Annual Conference which ended in Kathmandu today.

The theme of the conference was 'V'. Stephen Hance, Vicar of the Church of the Ascension, Balham Hill in London, travelled especially from the UK to give a series of five talks on Paul's letter to the Philippians, highlighting the 'V-shape' of Paul's story, which - like Jesus' story - saw him lose great status and suffer great humiliation but ended in great exaltation. This V-shape can be seen in the stories of many Christians, and Christian organisations.

The conference also included extensive discussion of INF's organisational vision, facilitated by INF's Val Inchley, together with the INF Worldwide Annual General Meeting and times of prayer for both INF and Nepal.

The conference was attended by INF expatriate Members serving in Nepal and the Nepali diaspora in India and Malaysia, together with visitors from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, India, Malaysia, Nepal, the UK and the USA.

Volunteers from India, Nepal and the USA also led a special programme for the 22 children at the conference.
