INF yesterday launched a new web site.

The new INF site was designed by INF’s Communications Department in Nepal with the help of Australian company Six Degrees, and was user-tested free of charge by New Zealand company Optimal Usability.

Funding for the relaunch was given by donor organisations and individuals in the UK and Germany. The new site is dedicated to Tim Frank, a German graphic designer who worked for INF in Nepal for eight years until his death after a motorbike accident in 2006.

New features on the site include:

Further new features are planned, including an online gift catalogue and a section for young people.

INF’s previous site, launched in 2004, helped to generate an increase in visits of almost 600%. In 2008 it attracted over 41,000 visits, whereas its predecessor attracted just 6,000 visits in its last full year of operation in 2003.

INF hopes that the new web site will help to raise the resources of prayer, people and money which the mission needs to serve the people of Nepal.
