INF's Kathmandu office yesterday welcomed a very special group of visitors from UK partner organisation Tearfund. The six-person 'Transform' team of prayer supporters is led by Tearfund's Prayer Co-ordinator Sara Kandiah. The group spent time with INF Worldwide Acting Director Seeta Gurung, who briefed them on the current situation in Nepal. Today the group members travel to Pokhara where they will meet INF members of staff and visit INF's Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities. On Friday they are due to travel to Ghorahi to see the work of INF's Dang District health and development programme. On Sunday they are scheduled to travel to Nepalgunj to meet INF members of staff involved in patient advocacy at Bheri Zonal Hospital, in support for Nepali economic migrants to India, and in HIV and TB work.
