'Get a life! trailer' hi-res

44 seconds | 5.8 MB

Trailer for the video in support of INF’s ‘Get a life!’ campaign on behalf of people with disabilities. The campaign is inspired by Jesus’ words: ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full’ [John 10:10], and is endorsed by the well-known US Christian writer Philip Yancey.

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world – the incidence of disability is very high and has been made even worse by the country’s ‘People’s War’.

The ‘Get a life!’ video shows how, as well as helping local organisations which work with disabled people, INF provides: specialist care for leprosy, TB, strokes, spinal injuries and deformities; reconstruction following burns, nerve and tendon injuries; prosthetics; medication; surgery; occupational therapy; physiotherapy; speech and language therapy; orthopædic appliances; and health education.

INF urgently needs to find funds to continue this vital work – and you can help…

You can turn disability into ability. You can help restore a person’s dignity. You can give someone their life back.

By supporting INF’s rehabilitation and prevention work you can en-able dis-abled people to support not only themselves but also their families and communities. You may even help someone find not only physical but also spiritual healing.

Please help INF help people with disabilities. Go on – get a life!
