INF Ambassador Naomi Reed is the keynote speaker at the upcoming Activate Missions Conference in Blackburn, Victoria, on April 28.

This year’s theme is ‘Witness in a broken world’ and Naomi will be giving two talks as well as running an elective on storytelling.

“I think these gatherings are really helpful for all of us to re-orientate ourselves to God’s world, and his mission that is not yet finished,” says Naomi. “We need our gaze lifted. Conferences like Activate show us the needs and opportunities worldwide, as well as helping us to pray and give and partner.”

Naomi will speak about how Jesus knows we are wearied and burdened no matter where we live but that often God will use us, even in that weariness and brokenness, to point to him.

“I spent all of last year interviewing people from around the world who had come to Jesus out of different faith backgrounds. That was amazing! God is at work, one by one, drawing people to himself, all over the world,” says Naomi.

The conference brings together churches, students, young adults and mission organisations from across Australia interested in world mission. Activate is organised by Victorian churches and mission groups.

INF will have a stand at the conference so please come and say hello and find out how you can get involved.
