Are you ready for a life-changing experience?
Peggy Franks, formerly INF’s Nursing Advisor, is leading another Vision Trip this October to Nepal. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to see God’s work through INF first hand by visiting projects and worshipping alongside Nepalis.
“It’s so encouraging to see people become engaged and respond to the experience of being in Nepal,” says Peggy Franks.
“People need to come with an open heart that the Lord will speak to them through the day to day activities of sightseeing, enduring bus journeys, seeing someone with leprosy, going to the Nepal church and comparing the difference to their home church.”
Peggy recently caught up with members of last year’s Vision Trip team and was delighted to see the last impact of the experience.
“People were now giving to Maya Sadan [an organisation that educates and cares for disadvantaged children], two others started attending a prayer group for Nepal and one person had been asked to speak to three different groups about Nepal,” she says. “The trip is not just a relaxing holiday, but should challenge you spiritually, emotionally and maybe also physically.”
The 2018 exposure trip will visit Kathmandu, Nepalgunj and Pokhara with opportunities to attend Nepali church and visit INF projects, with time for rest and reflection.
Rob and Sandra Smith were part of last year’s trip. They reflected on the experience saying, “This was a great chance to visit many and varied projects, and places first-hand and to understand more of the vision of INF. There was lots of contact and interaction with locals as well as seeing the beautiful countryside.”
INF Australia’s 2018 Vision trip led by Peggy Franks is from Oct 20th to November 5th. Places are limited.
