INF has signed a new five-year [2015-2020] General Agreement with the Government of Nepal’s Social Welfare Council [SWC]. Acting Country Director Dhan Prasad Gurung signed on behalf of INF International, while Member Secretary Er. Rabindra Kumar signed on behalf of the SWC in the presence of Director Subhadra Dahal, Deputy Director Dipendra Pant and Deputy Director Neeti Sherpa.
Also in attendance at signing the agreement were INF International’s Jay Budhathoki [Senior Liaison Assistant], Baburam Khatri [Liaison Assistant] and Arun Gurung [Communications Department]. Our financial commitment is US$ 2 million per annum and the General Agreement runs until 31 December 2020.
Our General Agreement was approved by the Project Analysis and Facilitation Committee of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare and was signed on 31 December 2015. “I would like to thank the SWC, the Government of Nepal, INF colleagues and INF prayer supporters around the world who have made this Agreement possible. Our next step is to submit the Project Agreement and we hope to finalise it very soon. We would really appreciate prayers for the new project agreement process,” says INF’s Jay Budhathoki.
