INF works in remote areas across Nepal’s West and Mid-Western Regions to support community health clinics, mid-wives and birth attendants deliver best quality care to expectant and labouring mothers working to reduce obstetric fistula and other possible complications. While much progress has been made, many women in Nepal still endure long and difficult labours. Ganga’s story is one like that of many women in Nepal, a traumatic labour where her baby did not survive leaving her incontinent. However, Ganga’s story took a different turn than many, and became a story of life restored and hope renewed after receiving treatment through INF. It is a story that INF is privileged to be a part of.
