What would it look like to live out your faith in Nepal?

Come and find out at INF Australia’s event in Adelaide this November, “Mountains & Valleys: Journeying in Faith in Nepal.”

INF Workers Terry & Julie Steven, currently on home leave in Australia, will be sharing about their experience walking their faith with INF in Nepal. The Steven family live in Pokhara and have been serving with INF since 2015.

Terry is INF’s Finance Advisor, meaning he mentors and advises INF finance staff, while Julie is passionate about improving women’s health, and contributes her nursing and midwifery skills in local training programs.

Tom and Nicola McGunnigle, INF’s South Australian Representatives, will also be sharing. They moved with their family to Nepal to serve with INF in 2015 and 2016, resulting in Nicola’s book Four Seasons in Nepal: Inside Stories of Hope and Empowerment in a Developing Nation.

The event will be a great opportunity to hear more about INF’s life-changing health and community development work, as they seek ‘life in all its fullness’ for Nepal’s poor and disadvantaged people and communities.

“Come along to hear uplifting stories of transformation,” says Nicola McGunnigle. “And as we are inspired and encouraged, we will take time to consider what role each of us can play in making the vision of ‘life in all its fullness’ a reality.”

There will also be opportunity to gain rich insight into life in Nepal through a powerful, hands-on group simulation. Participants, gathered into family groups, travel through the seasons and have to work together to produce enough food and earn enough money to survive each year.

“Could you confront the challenges of life in remote, rural Nepal?” asks Ben Thurley, INF Australia’s Relationships Manager.

Dal bhat dinner and chiya (delicious Nepali tea) will be served – don’t miss out!
