INF Ambassador and author Naomi Reed will visit Alice Springs next month [June 22-25] to speak at several events in the outback community. She‘ll share stories from her own life and time working with INF in Nepal.

Alice Springs has a strong connection with Nepal. Central Australians Inge and Neil Baumann-May are currently working with INF in Nepalgunj, Nepal. Inge is INF’s Maternal and Child Health Advisor and Neil is a counselor. Phil and Jenny Davis, also from Alice Springs, are also based in Nepalgunj working alongside the poor and marginalised.

Naomi will be the guest speaker at a High Tea Fundraiser for INF’s maternal and child health programs in remote parts of Nepal. The High Tea will be held on Saturday afternoon 23 June. She will also be speaking at the local Alice Springs Baptist Church.

“I’m excited about the visit – especially connecting with people again, and I love the colours in Alice Springs,” says Naomi.
