INF Nepal Central Office organised a pre-Christmas celebration programme on 23 December where staff from INF Hospitals and Programmes joined virtually. Thanks to technology, many of our staff members from different districts and our expatriate volunteers from abroad could join us.

Celebration programme commenced with the welcome and opening prayer from Finance Director Manju Thapa.

The programme saw testimony from Tham Gurung, a former leprosy patient who shared how he was healed not just physically but spiritually at the INF’s Green Pastures Hospital. He said he is eternally thankful to INF for bringing healings and peace in his life.

Liaison and Support Director Dhaka Ram BM shared a remarkable story of a mother’s love towards her child – how a mother could go to her extreme point and even sacrifice her own life to save her child. A thankful child is the one who returns the favour in time and shows the same level of love towards his/her mother without any hesitation. The message of Christmas is love. God loved the world and sent His son Jesus Christ for humanity to respond to this love. Loving one another is important as He first loved us.

Four teams namely GPH Palliative Care, Kapilvastu, Mugu and ICT, shared their short videos wishing Christmas to the programme participants.

Carol singing session was led by a Choir team of Suresh, Karuna and Amos.

The programme was hosted by HRD Manager Lekhnath KC.

INF Nepal’s Executive Director Krishna Adhikari thanked all the programme participants and made a closing prayer.

We wish you all a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021.
